    Las Vegas' newest pop punk quartet A Phoenix Forever releases its first sneak peak into the bands first EP produced by Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount (Cartel, All Time Low, Mayday Parade, Hit the Lights) set to release in 2009 with "Let it Grow" The band started this summer "2008" when they split ways from their previous band and singer in Fletch (www.myspace.com/fletch)
    What's with the Phoenix? The phoenix has proved an enduring allegorical symbol, symbolising rebirth, renewal or uniqueness and often appears in modern popular culture.

    We had to change the band name from Phoenix Down(based off our favorite video game Final Fantasy), some band already had an offical release like a thousand years ago, and now we cant legally have that name.

    A Phoenix Forever is a band name we were tossing around before we picked Phoenix Down, and it has alot of meaning for us. A phoenix represents rebirth, being able to reinvent yourself, or no matter how hard you suffer or get knocked down, you get up again. It really sums up where we are as a band right now, and we want to keep that a part of who we are, forever.

    I hope this doesnt confuse too many of you...
    This is something new for us to be excited about, and were just having fun with it.
